Sid and Elsie Dreadful, from Chattingham, say they will now find it more difficult to buy expensive Christmas presents for their grandchildren when the festive season comes.
It comes as the evil Labo*r government is stopping winter fuel payments for OAPs who are not on pension credit or other means-tested benefits.
Tory newspapers say that tens of
thousands of older people in
Up until now, all pensioners, regardless of income received up to £300 a year in winter fuel payments, including Sid and Elsie.
They say they now don’t know how they are going to buy nice Christmas presents for their grandchildren now.
“That 300 quid was my bloody Christmas money,” said Elsie (89).
“I don’t think you should have those worries at our age,” added Sid (89). “It shouldn’t just be for people on pension credit, there are well-off pensioners just like us who find that £300 really handy.”
“Now we’re going have to use our own money to buy our little Darren and Mandy expensive tat for Christmas.”
The Tory party, who have been bribing pensioners for years with inflation-proof benefits and other hand-outs, say the changes will lead to the most pensioners voting Tory in future.

A spokesperson at the Department for Work and Pensions said: “We are absolutely committed to supporting pensioners and giving them the dignity and security they deserve in retirement.”
“But given the dire state of the public finances we have inherited, it’s right that we target the easy savings first, such as grabbing a few quid off rich old Tory pensioners. Of course, they’ll be a bit of collateral damage for those just outside of the pension credit safety net, but our focus group said that it won’t cost us a lot of votes in five years time.”
“Hitting pensioners is much easier than taxing the super-rich because those bastards have clever accountants and friends in high places.”
Though the changes won’t be enforced until September 16, Tories are urging those concerned to make up as many unfounded scare-stories as possible for us and all the other right-wing rags to pick up and blow them up out of all proportion.
