R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC ®™© Cancels County Council Christmas Celebrations.

Leader of the County Council, the R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC (®™©)’s Lotte Drittereich, announced that all County Council Christmas celebrations would be cancelled this month.

“We do not care for zee woke, leftist message of ze Christmas celebrations,” said Cllr. Drittereich.

“Vee do not agree viz zee idea of ‘goodwill to all men’. Zis clearly means illegal immigrants, benefit scroungers and anyone else who is defenceless and easily demonised for our political purposes,” she explained. “Ve do not vant anyone showing THEM goodvill!!”

“Vee also don’t like zee idea zat Christmas is a time of hope. Vee don’t vant people to feel good about anyzing, let alone have hope.”

“Vee vant people to be thoroughly scared unt miserable at all times,” said Cllr Drittereich. “Zat way, zey are more likely to vote for zee R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC ®™© in three year’s time.”

“As for ‘peace on earth’, zis is no good to anyone, especially our dear friends Mr. Putin and Mr. Trump.”

The cancellation of County Council Christmas celebrations is not just a political move, however.

“By not celebrating Christmas, we can claim a few savings for our DOPE cost-saving publicity campaign,” explained Cllr Drittereich.

I’ll be taking a bit of a break from this blog. Combing through ‘our local on-line news sources’ for material meant an unhealthy level of exposure to the desperate click-bait shite, culture wars bollocks and the semi-literate drivel of the moronic half-educated quarter-wits called ‘reporters’.

And then there was the voluminous, utterly demented, toxic, vile gas-lighting and abusive, warped, lying whataboutery called the ‘comments’ sections -  extreme far-right poison written by one or two far-right trolls with multiple user IDs masquerading as ‘reader engagement”.

I found it was actually damaging my mental health. I certainly don’t find it funny any more.

So I stopped reading ‘our local online news outlet’ for a while and I was amazed to find how much better I soon felt.

I urge you to stop reading it as well. In fact, most of the UK media is addictive, toxic right-wing shit that can poison your brain to the extent that you no longer have a sense of what is truth and what are lies, or what is right and what is wrong.

Just say ‘no’, kids.

Thank God we do actually have a decent on-line local news provider. It deserves your support if you can.
