Prime Minister K*ir St*rmer spotted at Steaming Turban Indian restaurant in Chattingham

Staff at a Midway curry house had a “proud day to remember” after welcoming the Prime Minister for a meal.

The Steaming Turban: no freebies for the MORON, no freebies for K*ir St*rmer...

K*ir St*rmer was seen dining at the Steaming Turban Indian restaurant in Chattingham yesterday.

In a post shared on Facebook which we skimmed, the Indian restaurant in Chattingham High Street described the visit as “a great honour”.

It said: “We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister K*ir St*rmer to our restaurant today.”

“From the kitchen to the table, it was an unforgettable moment filled with great conversation. Sir K*ir and his team were very polite and friendly, and showed a keen and sympathetic interest in the problems we face in keeping our restaurant going, as well as the wider community we live in.”

“Thank you, Prime Minister, for stopping by and showing your support. We offered to waive the bill but you insisted on paying, and also left a very generous tip for our hard-working staff.”

“Your visit means the world to our team and community.”

Free specs but no freebie curry for St*rmer...

The Labo*r leader was seen posing and smiling with staff members while wearing jeans and a blazer.

The family behind the restaurant seemingly like to do things the hard way after they refused to give the MORON’s staff a few freebies last year, leading to us slagging them off with a bad review and digging up an out-of-date hygiene inspection to smear them with.

However, speaking at the time, the restaurant’s managers, brothers Viraj and Rishi Bakandhar, said the MORON’s antipathy didn’t bother them.

“Local people and our regular customers know the truth and certainly wouldn’t believe what they read in the MORON,” they said.

“Just like no-one with more than half a brain cell would believe what the right-wing press say about K*ir St*rmer…” 

The UK’s rabid and predominantly right-wing media have done a terrific job in training their credulous readership to start snarling, yapping and whining whenever the name of the UK’s democratically-elected Prime Minister gets mentioned. And boy oh boy, did we get a hate-fest from our local news-site’s click-baited trolls when their favourite outlet found an excuse to give the ol’ dog-whistle a little blast …

The Wastecoatt bypass and Midway tunnel is the responsibility of the county council. Specifically, the county council was responsible for the motorway scheme and its confirmation. While the bypass is located within the Midway area, road maintenance and responsibility fall under the county council.

That simply isn’t true. Just put “what council is responsible for the roads on the Wastecoatt bypass and Midway tunnel?” into a search engine and the answer is “Midway Council”. The works also feature on their web-site. Sounds like the R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC®™© are just claiming credit for other council’s work, just like they are claiming to have found cost savings from audits done and published over a year ago.
