Chancellor of the Exchequer R*chel Re*ves visits Holiday Park in Claptout-On-Sea

Following the huge click-bait success of our recent dog-whistle mention of Prime Minister Sir K*ir St*rmer, we thought we’d try the same trick with Chancellor of the Exchequer R*chel Re*ves...

Evil Chancellor R*chel Re*ves...
Chancellor of the Exchequer R*chel Re*ves visited a holiday park in Midway to see the effects of millions of pounds of investment into UK businesses.

Ms Re*ves attended Heathen’s Midway Coast Holiday Park in Claptout-On-Sea today where work is underway on a “first of its kind” £10 million leisure facility.

The politician visited the newly-opened Weatherfork’s pub, The Sunlit Uplands, and also oversaw work on the other significant investments at its Midway Coast park, which include a night rally centre for torchlight parades, a Weimar Cabaret bar and expanded arcade, as well as a new modern “Strength Through Joy” fitness camp.

The Chancellor also toured newly built holiday homes and met with both guests and Heathen team members, including some of the company’s 119 apprentices.

Ms Re*ves said the investment from Heathen into its parks demonstrated businesses were confident in the government’s handling of the UK economy and would create new jobs.

She said: “This is a sign of confidence in the UK economy and in the Kent economy. “If we're going to grow the economy we need to bring investment into our economy and it's investment over the last decade or more that has really been absent from the UK economy.

“So to see businesses and international investors backing Britain with investments like this £143 million investment in Great British holidays, that is a real sign of confidence.”

“Not that our rabid right-wing media will give us any credit for that, of course. They’ll just carry on throwing shit at us just like have done from the first day we got elected”, she continued.

“It’s enough to make any fair-minded person cry, it really is.”

Heathen, (which is owned by the world's largest property investment company, the shady U.S. firm of Brimstone) has invested heavily into upgrading facilities, new holiday homes and improved dining across its camps in England, Scotland and Wales since 2021 and is celebrating a record-breaking 4 million visitors this year. This year it has invested £120 million alone.

The Heathen Midway Coast employs 450 people from March to New Year and offers over 1,100 pitches.

Ms Re*ves added that despite employer’s national insurance rises, the government had made changes to prevent this from negatively impacting small businesses.

“To support smaller businesses, we’ve increased the Employment Allowance from £5,000 to £10,500 and removing the £100,000 eligibility threshold, expanding this to all eligible employers,” she said.

The brilliant new Sunlit Uplands - we love forrrrks!!!
“This means qualifying businesses won’t need to pay the first £10,500 of employer NICs. But of course, you don’t get to hear about that. All the UK’s media does is screech about us putting the NIC contribution threshold up to 15%.”

“That’s still less than the 15.05% that a certain Rishi Sunak did when HE was Chancellor in 2022, but none of the Tory media screeched about that back then, did they?”

Simon Palehorse, CEO of Heathen said: “I’m delighted that the Chancellor of the Exchequer has done so little to actually publicise the good things the government has been doing.”

“That means our chums at SMEER have had an easy time throwing shit at our Labour government – and getting it to stick. We’ve now managed to convince the credulous U.K. electorate that the Really Extreme Far Out Rightwing Maniacs Party UK PLC®™© really is the only party of choice at the next election.”

“Our rich billionaire backers are rubbing their hands with greed at the thought of our tame gargoyle trashing all those woke, leftist namby-pamby things like the NHS, the BBC, environmental controls and health, safety and employment regulations.”

Sweat-shop Britain, here we come!”

Sure enough and once again, the trolls are all over this one in the real world. Any excuse to throw out the same old lies, smears, insults and fact-free, illogical and repetitive Labour-bashing rhetoric. But it’s all OK because the host site has a Code of Conduct, so rabid, far-right-wing propaganda masquerading as “reader engagement” is perfectly OK.
And they want us to SUBSCRIBE to it?!...

It's the warped logic you spew with your ridiculous 'far right' tag for anyone supporting R.E.F.O.R.M. or concerned citizens genuinely worried for the safety of their children. The left hate British children which is why only national and international pressure forced the Labo*r government too turn on the grooming gangs scandals. Something Labo*r councils covered up for years. Where is your condemnation of the filth who allegedly sexually assaulted this child? Why have you remained silent? Is it ok with you? Where was your support of a grooming gangs inquiry? Why are you so willing too accept illegal migrants do not pose any threat? The list goes on. Where is your concern for those genuine refugees being persecuted, starved, beaten and worse in Syrian, Gaza, Somalia etc etc. Your defence of the indefensible and apparent loathing of the British speaks volumes. You are an antagonist, nothing more.

As a small family business owner this NIC hike is going too cost my company around £4000 per month. We only have a staff of 4 earning a liveable wage. Where do I find the extra money? Put my prices up? Thankfully the extra trade with Europe since Brexit is going too help prop up the pennies. Labo*r, A bunch of lying, thieving envious ********. I’m just trying too earn a wage for me and my family, not rake in millions. As I try too help myself, more of my hard earned money is going too pay the wages of the benefit scrounges and illegal immigrants that refuse too work as the system is too lucrative. Those that genuinely cannot work deserve help, those that can, but won’t deserve nothing.

Tornado Watcher replied:
Read the article. Small businesses don’t need to pay NICs. If you really did run a small business, you’d know that. Instead, you reveal yourself as yet another anti-Labo*r right-wing troll with the comment “Thankfully the extra trade with Europe since Brexit is going to help prop up the pennies”. What do you sell that has given you extra trade since Brexit? We’d all like a slice of that business! Everyone else in the UK has seen their European trade eviscerated by self-imposed red-tape.

Typical gaslighting and sealioning from a bitter and twisted Far Left hateful anti British antagonist europhile troll. You asked for a reference and I gave you a reference.
But in your twisted Far Left hateful anti British antagonist europhile troll mind, that isn’t good enough because it disproves your twisted Far Left hateful anti British antagonist europhile troll agenda.
I’d much rather believe the Daily Express than the leftist opinions of a bunch of hate-filled anti-free-market anti-growth coalition of economists, academics, businessmen and other so-called UK-hating “experts”.

Nah, R*chel from accounts needs the experience too put on her next CV, she won't resign until she can list an achievement. Like us, she's still waiting.

Chad Grindr replied:
Is that the CV where she tells lies?
👍+39
GreyMondeo Man replied:
OK, so R*chel Re*ves might have embellished CV regarding her length of experience at the Bank of England and the details of her roles elsewhere. But the truth is, she has a Masters degree in Economics and worked at the Bank of England for six years, followed by a spell at HBOS. I know you right-wingers and your preferred newspapers like to screech about what was or wasn’t on her CV or LinkedIn profile, but she seems to be a better-qualified Chancellor than, say, Jeremy Hunt (BA in economics, philosophy and politics followed by three failed start-up companies)? Or Kwasi Kwarteng (Ph.D. in “economic history” and a bit of hedge funding)? And as for her “lies”, a few inaccuracies on a CV hardly compares with, say,  “£350m a week to the NHS” or “we never had a party at Downing Street during COVID lockdown”. I await your factual and informative rebuttal.

What a piece of work that R*chel Re*ves is. Her own government put out a report that 4000 pensioners would freeze too death a result of her scrapping the winter fuel allowance, but she went ahead and did it anyway. How evil is she and that K*ir St*rmer? Anyone who voted for them should hang their heads in shame!

Tornado Watcher replied:
Labo*r came up with that number as a rhetorical stick to beat the Tories with in 2017, when May’s government mooted cuts to the WFP. Now they are getting beaten with their own stick by a gleeful right-wing – and serves them right. The truth is, fuel poverty charities said 5000 people still sadly died from cold in the winter of 2023/2024 – that’s despite the WFP being available back then. How accurate that figure is and how it was mitigated by the WFP can’t be determined. But sure as hell, if one single pensioner had died as a direct result of WFP withdrawal, you can bet that the Daily Telegraph/Express/Mail and GBNews would have been screeching it from the rooftops. Their silence speaks volumes as to the real extent of the impact. All the government did was to try and stop rich pensioners getting a subsidy they didn’t need. The stupid and clumsy way they went about it was a gift to the UK’s Labo*r-hating media and its army of social media trolls – like you. The message got through and they’ve reversed that decision, but that still isn’t good enough for you folk, who are now screeching about “U-turns” – as if changing your mind when you’ve screwed up is a bad thing.

And what about R*chel from accounts and her tax changes that will force all UK farming families into poverty now they are liable too pay IHT on their farmland? Yet another disaster inflicted on the UK by a bunch of hate-filled fifth-columnist UK-hating socialists that this anti-British Labo*r government are.
👍+34
Tornado Watcher replied:
Putting aside your ranting Daily Telegraph-style rhetoric, it has to be admitted that this was another bungled initiative. The intent was good – stop billionaires using UK farm land as an IHT haven. The IHT changes haven’t done that (the mega-rich will just hide their money somewhere else), and instead have placed a big burden on genuine medium-sized farms that actually generates only a very modest tax take. Doubtless Ms. Re*ves has another U-turn in the offering – and won’t you trolls screech and crow about that when it happens.

If governments resigned every time they screwed up, the previous Tory administration would have been calling elections every week. Hopefully this administration will actually start listening to the intelligent people in the various industries who are affected by their various plans and could help them tackle the issues sensibly. Instead, they still seem to be running scared of the Daily Mail. As for an election now, I cannot contemplate the utter disaster a R.E.F.O.R.M.-led government would be. Labo*r are still by far the least-worst option.
