Once again this Labour government is looking to kill our pensioners as a solution to the crisis in the NHS. Obviously the plan to freeze them all to death by the removal of the Winter Fuel Payment didn't free up enough hospital beds for all of the migrants coming to the UK for free healthcare. Disgusting. All those demented lefties who voted Labo*r at the last election should hang their heads in shame.

Gargoyle Party Leader Niglet The Gargoyle To Visit Claptout-On-Sea Ahead Of KCC Elections

Niglet the Gargoyle is returning from his main job in the USA to pay a fleeting visit to his Claptout-On-Sea constituency in Midway next week, ahead of the county council elections.

Niglet the Gargoyle: a big job...

It comes as a poll predicted that Niglet the Gargoyle’s company, the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, will sweep to a landslide victory in the county council elections on May 1, a result that looks likely to be seen across the UK.

Niglet the Gargoyle, who has been the “person with controlling interest” since he set the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©® company up in 2022, is due to speak at the Goebbels Event Centre in Claptout-On-Sea on Monday (March 31).

It will be a chance for supporters of REFORM UK Party PLC™©® to meet the candidates standing in this year’s Kent County Council (KCC) elections on May 1.

Speaking ahead of the event, Farage said: “The local elections are fast approaching and my REFORM UK Party PLC™©® will be standing in every single seat across Kent to give local people a genuine alternative to vote for, even if some of our candidates don’t actually exist.”

Niglet the Gargoyle: "California Dreamin'"
“So I thought it might be worth leaving the side of my great friend, the US President Donald Turnip, just to show my face for a few days to my miserable constituents, not that I’ll have the time to talk to them for security reasons, of course. I’ll be way too busy for that sort of mundane nonsense.”

“This event will be the perfect chance for me to boost my ego in front of the UK national media outlets and spout a load of Brexit-style empty promises and lies about how my REFORM UK Party PLC™©® will get the country back on track.”

“And the UK media and my growing fan base will slavishly lap it all up, because they have no sense of pattern recognition and the memory retention of goldfish.”

“Fifteen years of government by pandering to right-wing hysteria has broken the country.”

“My REFORM UK Party PLC™©® will fix it by pandering to right-wing hysteria and doing just whatever is popular with the UK right-wing press.”

Doors will open at 5pm with speeches scheduled to start at 6.30pm. Tickets for the torch-lit rally cost £3.

More star-struck swooning over their hero in the real world. And not a mention of events by any other party so far…

New Poll Says Gargoyle Party Will Take Control Of All County Councils Everywhere

A poll undertaken on behalf of the MORON suggests that Niglet the Gargoyle’s Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©® will sweep to a landslide victory in the county council elections on May, a result that looks likely to be seen across the UK.

Weatherforks punter: Thumbs up for REFORM
We spoke to over twenty shouty right-wing pensioners in various Weatherforks boozers across Midway yesterday lunchtime, and couldn’t find one who wouldn’t vote for his local R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC™©® council candidate.

Other parties dismissed our poll as unrepresentative, but our page-view click count and reader’s comments suggests most of our readers aren’t interested in any political party other than the R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC™©®, so we don’t care what other parties think.

A Green Party source said activists were not detecting “much enthusiasm” for R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC™©® on the doorstep, adding that Niglet the Gargoyle’s pathetic grovelling to US President Donald Turnip is a “total turn-off” for voters.

Niglet the Gargoyle: a winner...
But we don’t care about the greenies because they aren’t the R.E.F.O.R.M. UK Party PLC™©® and don’t generate the clicks that Niglet the Gargoyle does.

So watch this space for yet more puff-pieces for Niglet the Gargoyle and his Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, lots of bitching and whining about our elected Labo*r government, and nothing about any other party.

Because it’s all about the page views. Who cares about “balance” or “democracy”?

In the real world, it’s same ol’ same ol’…..

Midway Councillors Join Gargoyle Party Ahead Of May 1 Elections

As part of the MORON programme of pushing out as many plugs for the Gargoyle party as we can, we’re pleased to report that a further two councillors in Kent have joined the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©® ahead of the May 1 local elections...

Niglet the Gargoyle: busy representing his constituents...
Councillors May Duppname and Hugh Issie were among 29 defectives welcomed by party leader Niglet the Gargoyle via teleconference from Florida this week, where he is representing the American interests of his Claptout-On-Sea constituents.

Both councillors have been serving as independents because they were too obnoxious even for the Tories, although Hugh Issie was formerly a member of the Conservative group at County Hall.

Last week, Midway county councillor Cllr Pearl Clutcher also jumped ship to join the Heritage Party taking a swipe at her former Tory colleagues as she went.

Cllr. Pearl Clutcher: right-wing
“The Tories have paid the price for being a bunch of closet namby-pamby lefties,” she said. “And as for the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, they’re just a bunch of woke lefties as well.”

“What this country needs is completely bonkers, insanely off-the-deep-end right-wing policies. That’s why I’ve joined the Heritage Party.”

A few days before, another independent, former Conservative Cllr Brian Ratt, had also joined the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®.

“The Tories are just a sinking ship,” said Cllr Ratt. “That’s why I’m leaving it and going to another party where I might stand a chance of getting elected again.”

Stock image of a rat...
A joint statement released by Cllrs Ratt, Uppname and Issie, said: “Some residents across Kent are starting to think that only the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, will offer the kind of change they deserve.”

“Those are the ones who are so thick, they’ll deserve everything they’ll get when we’re in charge.”

“On every single issue, from immigration to taxes and the cost of living, the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, doesn’t have any policies or coherent plans.”

“But we do have a lot of Brexit-style slogans and vague promises though, which is all our thicko constituents want to hear.”

"We need real change. Labour and the Conservatives stand for basically the same thing - democratic elections.”

“Only the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, will bring about a dictatorship to the UK so that we can be ruled over by a bright orange perma-tanned loony who comes from America - Niglet the Gargoyle.”

We Love Niglet...
A Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®, spokesman said: “We’re delighted Brian, Amy and Hugh have joined us. We welcome anyone - even if they are just pathetic opportunists looking for re-election - provided they shut up and do what Our Niglet tells them to do.”

“For we believe in our LORD the Niglet. And if you have belief, then you don’t need logical policies or ideas. Beliefs are proof against reason or reality and need no explaining.”

“Our focus now turns to converting as many councillors as possible, where we will be preaching the Gospel of Our Niglet The Gargoyle in every single seat across Kent and looking to spread the Word of Our Niglet and his CRUCIFORM – the Church of the Really Unbelievably Crazily Insane Far Out Rightwing Maniacs…”

In the real world, more REFORM propaganda ahead of the county council elections, masquerading as local news…

How Fotherington-Spume Museum In Rainingham Has ‘Decolonised’ After Admitting Collection Was ‘Steeped In Racism’

A historic Midway museum that once glorified white colonial rule and slavery has been updated to provide a more accurate interpretation of the Victorian colonial era, presenting its unique collections in a more modern fashion.

The Fotherington-Spume Museum in Rainingham showcases the legacy of one of the most prolific African and Asian big game hunters and explorers who brought home thousands of specimens from his many expeditions.

Major Henry Fotherington-Spume created unique displays of ‘stuffed’ animals, including elephants, apes, giraffes, rhinoceros and lions, as well as a large variety of antelopes, smaller carnivores and other herbivores of all sizes, all presented in stunning dioramas.

Major Henry Fotherington-Spume
But four years ago, trustees publicly admitted that the museum needed to address its outdated glorification of British colonialism and to also look at how indigenous African people and their culture were represented.

The project was partly catalysed by the awareness of cultural and race issues raised by the ‘Black Lives Matter movement’, with the aim of presenting the museum’s collections and artefacts in a fashion that respected the cultures from which they came, rather than demeaning or ignoring them.

“We recognise that our collection was steeped in an old-fashioned manner that glorified racism and colonial oppression,” trustees admitted in a self-assessment posted on Facebook in 2020.

“We recognise these failings and the need for a more factual representation that appeals to a wider audience, rather than just Daily Mail-reading pensioners who still think that England has an empire and that all “forreners” are somehow inferior to themselves.”

“To this end, we have instituted a broad programme of modernising our museum and re-representing its collection in order to reflect an appreciation of the history of African and Asian culture in the context of British colonial rule."

The interpretation of the exhibits had changed very little since the 1920s when it was first produced, initially in a standalone building as his collection grew.

Some stuffed lions...
“We acknowledge that the way in which our exhibits were presented did not properly or fairly reflect the communities represented in our collections.”

Notably absent, admitted bosses, were the stories and voices of the African and Asian communities from which the objects were acquired.

But the pandemic closure gave the museum the opportunity to address the issues and time to reflect on how better to provide greater information and explanation of the exhibits’ origins.

The exhibits had also become dated and not very visually appealing, with the language used to describe them quite inaccessible.

But funded with a grant from the Arts Council England, the re-vamp is now nearing completion.

“It's been the aim to explain things far more accurately, honestly and fairly,” said the museum’s CEO Amy Pringle, “for example, working with international partners from those countries to better understand and to use respectful language.”

“I don't think the museum believed itself to be racist and steeped in colonialism in the 1920s, but times have changed and people have changed their outlook accordingly.”

“Or at least, most of them have.”

A stuffed hyena...
“Of course, there are always the old racist Union Jack flag-wavers who think that the colonial era was a paragon of virtue that bought civility to ‘primitive people’, and who would prefer to ignore the cruelty and oppression that such “civilising” brought with it.”

“We hope to present the history of the times in an accurate and balanced fashion, to give an honest and true account of the British colonial era and its effect upon indigenous African and Asian people.”

“There was lots of work and research behind the scenes. So we opened to the public, initially just for weekends and bank holidays. And we've been slowly testing out more days and now reintroduced Friday openings this year.”

Major Henry Fotherington-Spume collected thousands of African and Asian artefacts during his many cross-continental expeditions.

He was often accompanied by his two daughters who had a special interest in medicinal plants and brought back a huge number of specimens.

The animal species collection, which is one of the most remarkable of its kind in the world, also remains a significant source of scientific research.

Together, the museum is exploring the stories surrounding the objects and creating an experience that acknowledges and gives a voice to the communities of origin.

Fotherington-Spume: "Great White Hunter"
“Major Henry Fotherington-Spume was a product of his time, as was his collection, and we don’t intend to apologise for that,” explained the museum’s CEO Amy Pringle. “There were definitely two phases to his life, firstly as a hunter and collector.

“But later, it became important to him to share things more widely and not just for his own personal interest.”

“There’s a lot more we can learn from the exhibits, not just set solely around Major Henry but also around the people and cultures who helped his expeditions and those involved in taxidermy and designing the settings.”

Now the museum has re-opened for 2025 with a new permanent exhibition, which explores the rich cultures of South Sudan, Kenya, and Uganda and Amy hope to grow the visitor numbers back towards where they were.

Trustees have also tried to keep ticket prices as low as possible, which includes entry to the mansion house and the beautiful gardens, where more work is taking place to enhance its appeal and use.

Entry costs £5 for adults (£4.50 concessions) and £4 for children.

In the real world, a sly bit of ‘culture wars’ dog-whistling click-bait gets the trolls barking and the page views up…

Today Africa is the most prevalent 21st slave market and prediminantely it's black on black slavery so its nothing to do with us and museums shouldn’t be airbrushing history to pander to them. Wake up.

Drunken REFORM UK Party PLC™©® Twit Is A Nice Young Chap Really…

As part of an ongoing series of click-bait articles looking to puff up the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©® and slag off Labo*r in advance of May’s county council elections, on this week’s Midway Politics Plodcast we welcome would-be REFORM Party PLC™©® MP candidate Chadwick Rangington-Bass...

The 19-year-old almost caused the shock of the 2024 general election when he came close to winning the formerly safe Tory seat of Rainingham’s Laura Twatt.

However, after a night out with some of his friends in a Weatherforks boozer (the fantastic five-star Rees-Mogg’s Head in Stroochester), Mr. Rangington-Bass hit nobody’s headlines except ours after a drunken video led to him being suspended by Niglet the Gargoyle’s Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®.

The suspension came as a result of him being caught on video daring to criticise the gargoyle, which was subsequently posted on social media.

Rangington-Bass: "Up Trump's Arse..."
“Wossit all abaht, eh?” says Mr. Rangington-Bass in the video clip. “Where’s the bleedin’ gargoyle when you need ‘im? I’ll tell you. Ee’s over in America wiv ‘is ‘ead stuck up Trump’s arse as usual, thas’ where ‘ee is.”

“We got county council elections comin’ up soon,” he slurred. ‘Ee should be over ‘ere campaignin’ an’ ‘elpin’ us lie an’ whine abaht St*rmer’s mob and moanin’ abaht illegal immigrants, not suckin’ up to loony orange Yank dictators.”

“An’ wot abaht those immigrants, eh? Send ‘em all back to where they come from, thas’ wot our party policy says oh shit I fink I’m gonna be sick…”

As usual, the thin-skinned gargoyle reacted swiftly to criticism and promptly suspended Mr. Rangington-Bass, despite his popularity with Rainingham’s local dimwit community.

A statement was later issued by the gargoyle’s office in Florida afterwards, which said:

“Criticism of Our Supreme And Glorious Leader, The Great Helmsman St. Niglet The Gargoyle, is heresy of the most heinous kind.”

Niglet: "A Jealous Gargoyle"...
“For I, the LORD thy Gargoyle, am a jealous Gargoyle, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me…”

“It is therefore with no regret whatsoever that we have excommunicated Mr. Chadwick Rangington-Bass from the Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©®.”

“We will be replacing him with a party member who has the trust and countenance of Our Most Holy Gargoyle as soon as we can find someone, secure in the knowledge that the thickos in the Rainingham constituency would vote for a dog turd if it was wearing a Really Extreme Far-Out Rightwing Maniacs UK Party PLC™©® rosette…”

So tune in to our latest pod-cast, where we interview Chadwick Rangington-Bass and show just what a nice young chap he is, rather than just another drunken naïve obnoxious far-right twit who got caught out after a piss-up with his mates, could happen to anybody, nothing to be ashamed of…

In the real world, we see a non-event built around a complete non-story about a political nobody. It may have gained no traction whatsoever outside of the local bubble (hardly surprising) but it certainly gives a bit more local publicity to REFORM in the run-up to the county council elections…

Evil Labo*r Chancellor R*chel Re*ves destroys UK economy

Simon Goebbels
Businesses in Midway have had it tough in recent years, with the pandemic and soaring utility bills among the challenges crippling small traders across the county.

And from next month they face the impact of a punishing tax hike which one pub boss says will be “worse than Covid” – with everyone reduced to poverty, businesses going bankrupt, mass starvation, the collapse of civil society….the Four Horsemen ride forth…..the Kraken Rises…..the seas boil….the skies rain blood….as Simon Goebbels reports…

In her first Budget in October, evil Labo*r Chancellor R*chel Re*ves delivered a series of bombshells that “pulled the carpet from under” businesses across Kent. And we’re still ranting on about it now.

Evil chancellor R*chel Re*ves
Not content with condemning millions of UK pensioners to a freezing death this winter by restricting the Winter Fuel Allowance only to those on pension credit, “R*chel from Accounts” also raised the minimum wage by an unsupportable 77p an hour, forcing businesses to pay their staff something like a living wage.

And in the final death knell for all businesses across the UK, she revealed a catastrophic 1.2% hike in the amount employers would pay in National Insurance contributions (NICs) from 1st April, from 13.8% to 15%.

That’s only slightly less than what Tory chancellor Rishi Sunak put it up to in his April budget in 2022.

But that was the shrewd move of a Tory chancellor faced with a difficult economic situation, so we didn’t say a word against it.

By contrast, this identical NIC hike is the work of a Labo*r Chancellor and so must be a typical evil socialist incompetent mishandling of the UK economy that we are going to screech and whine from the rooftops about.

For Sir Martin Timm, the multi-millionaire Brexit hero whose Weatherforks national pub chain has hundreds of branches across the UK (and eight in the Midway area), it will add an extra £70,000 a week to his company’s wage bill.

“It is bonkers for a little family-owned national mega-pub company like mine,” he said. “I think it's going to be worse than Covid. At least, for my staff it will be.”

“We only had a £2 billion turnover last year and a measly £70 million profit, even after we paid £15 million to our shareholders.”

Sir Martin Timm: "Bonkers"...
“Our shareholders won’t want a reduction in their earnings, and our Directors and executives certainly don’t. And as my family are majority shareholders, we don’t plan to be taking a financial hit either.”

“So it’s back to the good old standbys of hiking prices, reducing quality, slashing maintenance budgets and firing staff. The staff can all go and get jobs in Tesco’s again, just like they had to when we shut down for Covid.”

“We were going to do all that anyway,” laughed Sir Timm, “but now we can blame Labo*r’s budget for it!”

"As for Re*ves lowering the threshold for employer NIC contributions from £9500 to £5000, that's great news for us. It means all the small pubs will struggle to afford the part-time staff they rely on and will go out of business. That'll wipe out our competition. Who says Labo*r isn't big-business friendly?"

But how will the increase impact you, if you’re not an employer?

Well, to make up the extra money now needed, we can expect prices to rise, the cost of services to increase, more uncertainty in our workplaces, a slowdown in recruitment and a slamming on the brakes of investment and expansion plans….. mass unemployment… soup kitchens….two-day working week….rotating power cuts….The Great Depression….Buddy Can You Spare A Dime….Bring Out Your Dead….War, Famine, Pestilence….we’re all doooooooooooomed….

What this country needs is a true Tory tax-cutting budget that we can praise from the rooftops until it all goes wrong, not an evil Labo*r raid on businesses that we can screechy shouty shrieky whine whine whiny whine on and on about as part of our campaign to throw as much shit at our democratically-elected government as we can until the next general election, so we can get a proper bunch of right-wingers in.

In short, we will all feel the impact of evil Chancellor R*chel from Accounts Re*ves. The question is, if further cuts are in the offing, just how seismic will that be?

We spoke to another Tory-supporting local businessman, Matthew Yapper.

Matthew Yapper; "Ridiculous"...
“We’ve recently had to close our restaurant, because our business plan to charge London prices for a venue in a run-down part of Chattingham was an obvious non-starter,” he explains.

“But that’s clearly the fault of evil Labo*r Chancellor R*chel Re*ves and her ridiculous rise in employer NIC contributions, national minimum wage, statutory sick pay and VAT on private school fees.”

“It’s just ridiculous, expecting employers to stump up for woke rubbish like worker’s pensions, decent wages and sick pay.”

“We need to return to proper UK Victorian values. Bring back workhouses, smallpox, rickets and little children going up chimneys, that’s what I say.”

“That’s what made this country great….”

One local businessman is less concerned about this disastrous Labo*r budget, however.

Steve Nimble runs MicroStrad, a specialist company that makes really small violins, and says that business is booming.

Microstrad: "Screechy"...
“Our product is the perfect accompaniment to all of the sob stories rich Tory businessmen have been coming out with since the IHT changes were announced," he said.

“Our really tiny violins are just flying off the shelves.”

“I have a couple of full-time employees, but I don’t have a problem with the NIC tax rise. We’ve got to start raising taxes somewhere, in order to pay for 14 years of the Tories running the country down.”

“If this was a Tory tax rise I’m sure you wouldn’t be seeing all these screechy headlines in the right-wing press…”

And that wasn’t what we wanted to hear, so we stopped talking to Mr. bloody leftie Nimble.

The voices raising concerns have so far met with little government compromise.

Evil Chancellor R*chel from Accounts Re*ves took a break from lying about her CV to say that she hopes the government will “never have to deliver a Budget like this again” before going on to admit that “it’s not going to be easy for businesses”.

She added: “We made a commitment during the general election that we wouldn’t increase taxes on working people, because we know the shrieking right-wing press would have a field day with it if we did.”

“But they’re going to slag us off no matter what we do, so we might as well start taxing greedy rich bastards like they expected us to.”

“Trouble is, that’s really hard work. The bastards have got their tentacles everywhere and if we start trying to claw some of the money back they’ve bled out of the country over the last 15 years, they’ll just crash the stock market and screw us over.”

“So it’s back to taxing the poor, just like UK governments always do these days…

In the real world, a good old rant about “Rachel From Accounts” and all her works is guaranteed to be solid-gold click-bait. And sure enough, the regular comments trolls were all over it, with the same old sneers, lies and insults. Ah, bless ‘em…
